Motorola and Ferrari have today revealed its all new MOTORAZRmaxx V6 Ferrari Challenge. The newly designed phone is according to Motorola “a perfect marriage between the style of Ferrari and the technological innovation of Motorola.”
The most obvious difference with the new mobile is the Ferrari text and logo on the phone, along with an exclusive Ferrari engine which revs up when you turn the mobile on or off. Along with that come thirty photos of the rather devine Ferrari F430 and the exqually awe-inspiring Challenge Trofeo Pirelli USA.
If that wasn’t enough it comes complete with a Limited Edition hand stitched Ferrari case for the phone. Valerio Camardella of Motorola said the following about the new phone; “We are very proud today to announce our partnership with Ferrari”.
Of course the new phone doesn’t come cheap and at over £300 its will probably only appear to Ferrari owners or fans, even so it is a delightfully gorgeous phone and will be available in five continents and Ferrari stores sometime soon.

While I can appreciate the niche products I could never understand from a business perspective how the R&D/Manufacturing costs spent will come back and make it worth it. Ferrari owners are definitely a small percentage of the planet…..when I say small I mean…..excruciatingly tiny.
